PLAYING CAREER

Kayla played seven seasons in the WNBA, most recently for the Chicago Sky. She played her first five WNBA seasons for the San Antonio Stars, one season for the Indiana Fever, and this past summer she was picked up by the Chicago Sky.

Kayla plays for various teams overseas during the WNBA off season. She played three seasons in Russia, one season for Tango Bourges in France, half a season for Samsung Blueminx in South Korea and most recently in Australia for the Adelaide Lightning. She is currently back home in Toronto, Canada training in preparation for team Canada and the upcoming 2020 overseas season this winter.

Kayla Alexander attended Syracuse University from 2009-2013 on a four year athletic scholarship. She graduated as the women’s program’s all-time leading scorer.

Kayla has had the privilege of playing for the Canadian Junior National team in high school, the Canadian Development team in college, and most recently the Senior National team.
