Day One in Venice certainly was eventful! The fun began wen i arrived at my stop. I naively told myself that if I followed the map and read the street names on the buildings I would be able to successfully find my hotel. I mean, how hard is it to read a map? This year our team had a large break between games for the month of February. At first, I was going to stay in Russia and explore Moscow. However, I didn't feel comfortable with the language barrier. This left me trying to figure out what I wanted to do instead. Playing basketball for a living has been an absolute blessing. It has allowed me the opportunity to travel the world, and to see and live in parts that I would have never imagined!
