Kayla Alexander is a Canadian born Christian, professional athlete, and published author and illustrator.

Born in Ontario, Canada, Kayla Alexander is the eldest daughter of Joseph and Audrey Alexander. She has one sister, Kesia and one brother, Kyle. Kayla completed a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education from Syracuse University where she majored in History and minored in French.

Kayla's primary occupation is as a professional basketball player both in the WNBA and overseas. Kayla is also a current member of the Canadian Senior Women’s National team. For more information on her basketball career see the Basketball Bio.

When not playing basketball, Kayla is an illustrator whose media of choice is the Procreate App for iPad Pro. She also has plenty of experience using pencil, pen, watercolor and illustrative marker. In her spare time Kayla enjoys journaling. Her writing includes thoughts on her experiences, faith in God, as well as current issues or events that have importance to her.
